Our Story
Meet Jeane Moore, a passionate artist currently based in Saltillo, Mississippi, whose love affair with the captivating world of animated effects, particularly those from the vibrant 80s and early 90s cinema, began in her formative years. Armed with an array of media, including acrylic paints, plaster, and concrete, Jeane has brought countless visions to life. Her creations grace studio backdrops, enrich home and patio aesthetics, and even adorn decommissioned airplane panels with a stroke of artistic brilliance.
In 2014, a simple act of creativity ignited a remarkable journey. Utilizing leftover felt from a prior project, Jeane fashioned a modest doll, inspired by her childhood hero, Jim Henson. This humble creation marked the inception of the Ragged Doll Collections.
What began as a solitary hand-sewn doll soon blossomed into an entire ensemble of dolls and unique, handcrafted collectibles.
Breaking free from the confines of their studio, The Ragged Doll Company embarked on an exhilarating journey to share their whimsical creations with the world.
