Originating from the distant emerald mineral world known as Thryssara, the Virellix are a rare species referred to as Facet Born. These beings hatch from living geodes formed deep within crystalline mountain forests and survive by consuming stones and mineral growths. Each mineral they absorb influences their coloration, temperament, and evolutionary path.
This particular specimen is currently in its Early Facet Phase, displaying heightened curiosity and a strong attraction to quartz, gemstones, and naturally formed crystal fragments. Virellix instinctively gather and store stones inside their vessel, using them to support molting cycles and internal resonance development as they mature.
The vibrant multi-chromatic fur growth present in this specimen is considered highly uncommon among young Virellix and suggests early exposure to diverse mineral sources, indicating strong adaptive potential.
