Bramblejack

Bramblejack wasn't born in the forest. He was left there.

Long ago, a little girl made him from an old red coat and stuffed him with pieces of autumn. Somehow, the forest gave him a life of his own.

Now he wanders from tree to tree collecting mushrooms, flowers, and anything else he thinks is beautiful. He doesn't talk much. He just sits quietly and watches over the woods.

But every autumn, he returns to the same old stump.

He's still waiting for the little girl to come back.
