“Bloom Where It Took You”
She wasn’t planted here.
No one remembers when she showed up at the edge of the yard, sitting too still, holding that stem like it meant something. The flower above her bloomed first. Bright. Beautiful. Almost proud.
What came after didn’t ask permission.
Roots don’t always grow downward. Sometimes they find their way out.
They say if you look at her too long, you start to feel something trying to bloom inside you too.
